The idea has been around for couple of years but never really picked up.  Recently, however, the idea was revived and inshallah will continue to grow.  The message is simple, everyday be thankful for what you have isn't enough, you have to ask yourself what can I do to make show my thanks.  Words are empty; action its worth its weight it gold.  Be thankful by making a positive impact on others, it could be as simple as helping the eldery and young cross the street, holding the door open as you walk into an elevator, mall or your building.  Take it to the next level, get involved with volunteer organizations; find an organization, a project that you connect with or feel passionate about and apply your skills and knowledge to help them succeed.  This is where al-shabab hopes it can help by connecting you with organizations and/or projects.
